Annika Fröhlich, born in 1998, lives in a small town near Fürth. She studied journalism in Ansbach and Oslo and now works as a social media editor for the sports magazine *kicker*. For several years, she has been a member of a literary writing workshop at the Kulturzentrum Nord in Nuremberg.
In her writing, she explores memory, speechlessness, and the subtle fissures in family relationships. Waldbeben is her debut novel.
