Franziska Wilhelm, born in 1981 in Erfurt, lives in Leipzig and works as an author and moderator. She has received several literary prizes and scholarships, including a residency grant from the Hessian Literature Council in Bordeaux, the Märkisches Stipendium für Literatur, and the literature scholarship from the Free State of Saxony. She also hosted the literature podcast "Seite37," the cross-media show "MDR Sputnik Slamedy," and numerous science slams. She is a permanent member of the Leipzig reading stage "Schkeuditzer Kreuz".
