Frauke Scheunemann

Born in Düsseldorf in 1969, Frauke Scheunemann holds a doctorate in law. She completed a traineeship at NDR and then worked as a journalist and press officer. She has been a freelance author since 2002 and is very successful not only with the novels she has written together with her sister Wiebke Lorenz under the pseudonym “Anne Hertz.” Her series about the little dachshund Hercules was on the SPIEGEL bestseller list for months, and her children’s detective novels with Winston the tom cat as the four-legged investigator are an international success with readers young and old. The total print run of Frauke Scheunemann’s books now amounts to three million copies.
