Herbert W. Franke
Herbert W. Franke, born in 1927 in Vienna, received his PhD in physics. He worked at Siemens until 1956 before embarking on a writing and academic career. He has consistently worked as an instructor in computer graphics and art since the 1970s. Along with his expert publications, Franke is best known for his sci-fi novels that have been translated into multiple languages. The author lived and worked south of Munich until his death on 16.07.2022..
