Kathi Wilhelmi loves telling stories. Whether as an actress, drama teacher or author –
wherever she is, she develops characters and immerses herself in unfamiliar worlds. In the real world, she lives with her family near Trier and spends her time – usually  successfully – searching for marbles and building blocks under cupboards rather than murderers in dark alleyways.
She began her writing career by writing short stories, plays and books for young people. With Mutterliebe, she makes her thriller debut.
