Marinus Obermair was born in 2003 and grew up in a small village in Upper Bavaria. While in school, he became the Bavarian triathlon champion; he then completed an apprenticeship as a chef at the renowned Alpenrose on Samerberg. Immediately after passing his journeyman’s exam, he quit his job and decided to travel around the world without any financial savings. Hundreds of thousands of people follow his adventures on social media.
