Peter Prange
Bestselling author Peter Prange is the great storyteller of German history.
He is an internationally successful author of novels (including the Weltenbauer-Dekalogie series) and non-fiction books (including WERTE). After studying Romance languages and literature, German language and literature, and philosophy, and completing his doctorate (Das Paradies im Boudoir), he made his breakthrough with Das Bernstein-Amuluett (also filmed as a two-part series by ARD). His bestseller Unsere wunderbaren Jahre was very successfully adapted for television as a multi-part series and has been repeated numerous times.
He also gained a large readership with his historical novels (including Die Philosophin, Die Principessa and Die Rose der Welt).
His works have a total international circulation of well over three million copies.
The author lives with his wife in Tübingen.
