Ralf Isau
Ralf Isau writes fantasy literature that „defies categorization“ (Rhein-Neckar-Zeitung). Born in Berlin in 1956, the author lives with his wife in Stuttgart. In 1988 the computer scientist and copywriter started a fantasy epos for his daughter. Thanks to Michael Ende he found a publishing home for his Neschan trilology. From the 40 books that have since flowed from Isau’s pen, he has written not only children’s and young adult books, but also many adult novels. „Better than Dan Brown!“ claims the magazine Focus. „Ralf Isau is by far one of the best authors we have in Germany,“ wrote the online portal literaturmarkt.info. Among the other many awards he has received, he was awared the „Buxtehuder Bullen“ prize for the best youth narrative in German for his work Das Museum der gestohlenen Erinnerungen. Through his agency Phantagon he is active in German linguistic culture in everyday language and advertising copy.
