Jana Crämer, born in 1982, is an author, speaker and podcaster. With one million followers on social media, she is one of the most powerful voices for self-love, mental health and eating disorders in the German-speaking world. She has experienced what she writes about: she went from being a fangirl to a music manager, weighed over 180 kilos, lived with binge eating disorder for over twenty years and felt trapped in a body that was constantly being judged. Today, she stands for honesty about herself and her diagnosis of lipoedema – online, on stage and in the podcast "Wir sind so" (We are like this). Together with her best friend, musician"BKK bauchgefühl" initiative. Jana Crämer was awarded the SignsAward18, the ‘Oscar of the communications industry’, for her courage in communication. In 2023, TikTok honoured her as ‘BookTok Author of the Year’.
